Roof Top Cafes have something special about them and have always been my first choice to dine in amazing weathers. Dining over the top of the city during the night is one of those beautiful moments that I never fail to relish. With a lot of rooftop restaurants in the city today, Potbelly still remains one of my favorites. It gives me no reason not to visit it again and again and on top of that serves me some delectable food items that I always crave for.
Went here a few days ago with a bunch of friends and as always enjoyed this visit to the fullest. If we talk about the interiors, they seem splendid with beautiful and comfortable chairs and well designed tables. The ambience out here is also very elegant. But the centre of attraction remains its variety of exotic eatables that have unmatchable standards and is served in broad miscellany. The name potbelly might sound outlandish but the cuisine that It specializes in is thoroughly native. The cuisine I am talking about here is the Bihari cuisine. Be it the UPSC exams or traditional delicacies, Bihar always excels in both of them. I always crave for authentic Bihari food and tried the following here-
Oreo Shake- Creamy and highly appetizing.
Ice Tea- Had two varieties, the rose one and the lemon one. Although both of them tasted really good, I found the lemon one better.
Masala Lemonade- Tangy and refreshing.
Meat Pakora Basket- Served with a piquant green chutney, tasted scrumptious.
Sabudana Basket- Delicious and spicy sabudana pakodas are sure to make you go gaga over its amazing taste.
Jhinga Machli- Served with crispy papads, tasted delectable.
Bihari Burger- What else could be more delightful than a huge and tasty burger? A huge and tasty burger with a lot of cheese. This one was heavenly.
Dhamaka Maggi- Never imagined that a cheese Maggie can be so delicious. An absolute delight.
Champaran Style Mutton- Served with Malabar Parathas and tasted relishing.
Pineapple Cake- An amazing choice for a dessert to end your toothsome meal with.
