The first thing that appealed to me about this place was its concept i.e. the first of its kind Aphrodisiac Kitchen & Bar. When you think of aphrodisia, you visualise something which is sensually enticing, but this place has more to its aphrodisiac influence, than just the aura and ambience.
This newly launched place is definitely going to astonish you with its food, drinks and decor. Upon a casual enquiry with the management, I discovered that they do use such natural ingredients in their food that boosts your sexual drive. In line with the aphrodisiac concept, they use certain fruits & vegetables while preparing the food for the aphrodisiac influence; viz. Asporagus, Avocado, Cucumber, Bell Pepper, Mint, Lychee, Cinnaomn, Strawberry, Camamile, Banana & Honey.
Sprawling over 9500 sq ft. of area, there is a subtle romantic aura in this place, enough to lure your senses and tastebuds. They have a huge area with varied seating options. On top of it, they have tried to be fairly true to the cuisine which makes you praise it even more.
Location, Ambience and Interiors: The moment I entered, I was spellbound by the splendour and grandeur of this place. I have literally fallen in love with the 40 feet long bar, may be because of the liquor offerings or the decor, or with the music playing in the background. Dim lighting and paintings depicting various sensual moods of beautiful women were showcased on the walls. A piece of art, this resto-bar is also a visual delight, besides the scrumptious food delicacies that they serve. Hats-off to the person, who would have thought of such concept.
We were a group of over fifteen friends so we got a chance to taste a variety of drinks and delicacies.
They offered various drinks in innovative styles including Strawberry Sensation, Nuclear Banana Daiquiri, Ginger Pomegranate Daze, Rang De Basanti, Aam Fizz, Mess Glory & Imli Patola. All the drinks were quite refreshing.
We were offered a range of options to satiate our craving with Nacho Pencho, Chur Chur Pizza, Bourbon Smoked honey Chicken, Rogani Mutton Seekh, Jumbo mutton tawa keema Parantha, Tempura Chicken, Aloo corn loly pop, Chilli Corriander soya chaap, Grilled Broccoli & toasted Pinenuts, Pitta Pocket Sandwich, Tandoori Chicken gayoza, Crazy Burger and what not.
Bourbon Smoked Honey Chicken – These were just a treat to your taste-buds. Chicken pieces were succulent, juicy & nicely flavoured. They were beautifully marinated with their secret recipe sauce & honey that was giving sweet and spicy taste to the juicy meat. They were temptingly tasty.
Rogani Mutton Seekh – It was mouth watering, luscious & palatable. Still drooling over it.
Jumbo Mutton Tawa Keema Parantha – It was something different. I can still feel its delectable & scrumptious taste.
Tempura Chicken –Served on lettuce, these crispy deep fried small chicken pieces were juicy & awesome in taste.
Nacho Pencho – These small round shaped nachos are something that one should not miss. They were served with cream & tomato onion dip/chutney. They were very crisp & topped with stuffing and salsa mixture, melted cheese and tomato. These nachos can make a great snack and work well as a meal, too! MUST TRY.
Mini Chur Chur Pizza – I have never had such a crispy & patties based crust pizza. Its crust was very crispy and quickly melts into your mouth. It was well topped with cheese & veggies/chicken and sumptuous in taste.
Aloo Corn Loly Pop – These toothsome corn loly pops were great in taste.
Chilli Corriander Soya Chaap –Innovatively presented on banana leaf with orange & green sauce and onion rings. Soya Chaaps were okayish but green khatti meethi sauce/chutney was great in tasty.
Grilled Broccoli & toasted Pinenuts – This delicious & healthy grilled broccoli was lubricated in beautiful dressing & toasted pine nuts.
Crazy Burger – It was temptingly tasty. Must try.
Pitta Pocket Sandwich – These were a let down factor of the meal as it had a thick layer & the filling was bland. I hope the management takes note and improves upon it. Not recommended.
Tandoori Chicken gayoza – It was looking like fried momos and was served with two dips. These gyozas were well filled with fresh & juicy minced chicken. Really enjoyed it.
We had Red Velvet & Cream Cheese Brownie – It was simply yummy, hit the palate on a satisfactory note.
The staff and management here is prompt, courteous and on their toes to serve you the best. One word for the place – amazing. Be there and enjoy. Highly recommended.
