En – The Japanese Restaurant

Looking for some really toothsome Japanese cuisine of great quality and taste? This place is just for you. I was really enthralled and gripped at the classy décor & serene ambience of this place. An open terrace view of Qutub Minar makes this place even more desirable. They have commodious & variant seating options. They also have private balconies. This restaurant is situated on the first floor. As you enter, you get a glimpse of eye catching works of art showcased in the reception area. I could observe a lot of Japanese & Buddhist touch to interior & décor of this place. I was fascinated by the displays like statuette of Buddha, Japanese Samurai, Japanese Hand Fan, Japanese Wine bottles, Japanese lamp shades, Samurai War Accessories, beautiful framed photos, paintings and many more things flaunting Japanese culture.

For drinks, we ordered Tokyo LIIT & Cheery Blossom, both the drinks were very refreshing & tasty.

It was a buffet, so we got a chance to taste various Japanese delicacies viz. Asparagus Tempura rolls (in cream cheese roll), Baked Salmon roll, Tekka Maki (Tuna Roll), Non Veg Party Roll, Dashimaki (Japanese Omelette with fish stock), Oshizushi (pressed sushi chirashi), Potato Salad, Veg Green roll (Okura, green capsicum, seaweed powder), Ebi tempura roll (fried tempura shrip roll), , Veg California Roll (Avocado, cucumber asparagus), Kappa Maki (Cucumber roll), (Yakimeshi) Veg Fried Rice with soya oyster sauce, Tofu & Vegetables with black bean sauce, Harumaki (Veg Spring Roll), Yusai kushiage (Vegetable Panko Fried), Green Vegetable Sauteed, Yasai – itame (seasonal vegetable with oyster sauce, Braised Chicken. It was the very first time when I tasted Japanese food and I must say it was very sumptuous, healthy & delectable to taste buds. Out of all Asparagus Tempura rolls, Braised Chicken and Fried Rice with soya oyster sauce were my favourite.

For desserts we got sorbet, chocolate cake & cheesecake; sorbet had strong hint of lime & mint and was great in taste. Chocolate cake & cheese cake was temptingly taste.

The staff here is quite courteous and service is also prompt.

I would love to visit them again as they keep serving such delish Japanese food. Highly recommended. Visit this place and I bet you would never like to say ‘Sayonara’.
