Junkyard Cafe, where junk reaches its destination not to be simply thrown away, but to be given a new form, a fresh one, all in an attempt to make a place that is different and unique from the others, is one of its own kind. Intelligence and creativity is at its best.
The place is very spacious, spread over two floors and on most days you will get a table without having to wait. They have a bar so you can get your hands on some good cocktails too. I was in a mood to have chilled beer and provided me the same. In mocktails, the virgin mojito was good. Their hazelnut chocolate shake is definitely a must have. We had some veg and non veg starters both. Among veg starters, Veg Salt and Pepper, Junkyard special paneer tikka, Chilly Cottage Cheese and Tandoori mushrooms were delectable. Bhatti ka Murg Tikka and Lamb Tikka were marinated to perfection with all the spices and pepper and were served in large portions.
In the main course, I had Chicken Tikka Butter Masala and Dal Makhani. Both of them were flavoursome. Loved it. For dessert we had brownie sundae which was just a perfect sweet end to our meal. Service is something which plays an important role in forming your impression of a place.
Here the service was undoubtedly quick and safisfactory. The staff members were polite, well behaved and respectful. To sum it up, Junkyard Cafe is one place that everybody should visit at least once, to be spellbound by the meticulous interiors, the finger licking good food and the prompt service.
