Dishoom, Satyaniketan has recently become one of my favourites in the area due to many reasons. The joy of having some luscious and savory food while sipping ambrosial mocktails/shakes/drinks will take you to the next level with the kind of service and hospitality that they offer. As you enter this place, you will find a beautiful seating area capacious enough to accommodate approx 40 customers. They have variant seating options like sofa, couch and regular chairs. The interiors are nicely done on a rustic theme with dim and elegant lighting adding to its beauty to the overall look of this place.
We were in a group of five and we started with drinks including Passion Fruit, Green Apple, Red Velvet Shake, Kit Kat Shakes; for all the drinks the taste and presentation both were awesome.
Further we moved on to starters including the following:
Drums of Heaven: Chicken leg pieces at their best. Perfectly marinated and fried with the best of spices.
Baked Nacho: Yummy nachos loaded with tasty cheese.
Chili Chicken: You find it everywhere, but at Dishoom it is a bit different. Must Try.
We further tried Veg Salt and Pepper and Phantom Cottage Cheese
One of my favourites here was the Makhmali Chicken Satay, I just loved every bite of these juicy and succulent chicken pieces cooked to perfection.
For Main course we ordered Butter chicken served with Malabar Parantha: Malabar Paratha with butter chicken which gave me a hint of everything including garam masala, ginger, garlic, lemon or lime, pepper, coriander, cumin, turmeric, chilli and what not with creamy/buttery texture to make you drool over.
I highly recommend this place if you wanna relish some tasty food in a subtle and beautiful ambience. Go there and have fun.
